The exclusive Amadores Thalasso Spa, at the Gloria Palace Hotel Amadores opened its doors in 2004.
The Gloria Palace Amadores is one of the few hotels that offer Thalassotherapy on the Island of Gran Canaria. Its sister hotel San Augustin also offers Thalassotherapy and treatments.
Thalassotherapy uses seawater and seaweed both of which contain minerals and vitamins in high levels for treatments not just for beauty, but also for total body rejuvenation and relaxation. Revitilise your body and mind whilst being pampered by a trained consultant; each guest is made to feel comfortable and relaxed with a high degree of personal attention.
The Talasoterapia Canarias centre is around 1.800m2, entirely given over to health, include a dynamic pool, gym pool and the “Get in Shape” pool, which consists of a relaxing circuit in seawater heated to different temperatures (33ºC/37ºC), with 29 hydro massage points.
The centre is located in the main building of the hotel Amadores and has spectacular sea views from the Get in Shape pool and the relaxation area.

Personalized treatments Thalasso Amadores
The zone for more personalised treatments consists of approximately 30 cubicles with bathtubs, pressurised water jets, treatments using algae, massage, Ayurveda, aesthetic treatments (facials and body treatments). The décor and atmosphere are purposely designed to encourage relaxation and wellbeing. There is also a sauna, Turkish bath and a fully equipped modern gym with superb graffiti murals.
